300 years after the peace of Utrecht, a new principles accord will be signed in 2013. The starting point is The Utrecht Principles, a programme of the University of Utrecht and Stichting Vrede van Utrecht that tries to accomplish sustainable peace in these complex, multicultural times. An introduction by Prof. Dr. Paul Schnabel, vice-president of Stichting Vrede van Utrecht. Mohammed Sini, president ROC Midden Nederland, reveals an initiative from the Moroccan community. Wim Embrechts presents the Brussels citizens’ initiative Platform Kanal. The sociologist Dirk Jacobs (Université Libre de Bruxelles) joins the subsequent debate.
