The best orchestra in the world for the first time at deSingel! Archive
The best orchestra in the world, directed by the Flemish Jan Raes, will play in deSingel on Saturday the 15th of December. The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from Amsterdam under the direction of the Dutch conductor Otto Tausk will guide you through a surprising encounter with music from Flanders and the Netherlands.
We will hear a Belgian premiere of a creation by Mayke Nas, a Dutch descendent from a musically gifted family in the south of the Netherlands. The programme also includes compositions by F. Devreese and Luc Brewaeys, two fantastic Belgian composers, and a symphony by the Dutch composer Tristan Keuris.
