How do children grow up in big cities nowadays? Who still plays a part in their upbringing and which players are inexorably out of the game? The school, the parents, youth workers, the media, or God and Allah? Who makes the difference? Karin Heremans, director of the Royal Atheneum in Antwerp and author of Een tip van de sluier (A tip of the veil), children’s commissioner Bruno Vanobbergen and Kwinten Fort, employee at the Vlaamse Speelpleinwerking and president of the Platform Diversiteit van Steunpunt Jeugd participate in the discussion. Sven Pichal (Radio 1) moderates.

In collaboration with HETPALEIS and Steunpunt Jeugd in the framework of Antwerpen Jongerenhoofdstad 2011
