It's the economy, stupid! #1: Ewald Engelen Archive
More immigration for a healthy economy
Friday 7 October 2011 - 20:00
Beursschouwburg | A. Ortsstraat 20-28, 1000 Brussels
There is a crisis and the insights of economists are more relevant than ever. In each episode of this series we invite a renowned economist or financial expert to share his or her surprising and sometimes controversial view on a current topic. Professor Ewald Engelen, financial geographer and academic lecturer on ethnic entrepreneurship at the University of Amsterdam will take the kickoff. The evening centres around his frequently criticized thesis that immigration leads to economical profit.
