Henriëtte Louwerse

The series ‘Het Vaderhuis | De Moederschoot’ (house of the father | womb of the mother) includes discussions between academics and artists and is moderated by Dr. Henriëtte Louwerse (University of Sheffield). The encounters have a fixed outline: first short lectures, followed by a panel discussion and finally a debate with the audience. The first event deals with the theme ‘thuisgevoel’ (belonging). Prof. Dr. Peter Geschiere (The perils of belonging) and Dr. Liesbeth Minnaard (New Germans, New Dutch) are the lecturers for the evening.
