In the Heroes series of deBuren univerCity two prominent guests will talk with moderator Henriëtte Louwerse (University of Sheffield) about their Hero.  We begin the series with two European heroes. Frans Timmermans is a Dutch parliamentarian and former state secretary for European Affairs. Henrik Vos (University of Ghent) is director of the Centre for European Studies and co-author of the awarded book Hoe Europa ons leven beïnvloedt (The influence of Europe in our lives).
